Who is behind Climate Neutral Group?
We are a social venture that strives towards a 100% climate-neutral world. Our mission is to help as many organisations as possible to make the transition to climate-neutrality and to develop climate-neutral services and products for their customers. Every organisation emits greenhouse gases, some more than others – and this has an unfortunate, negative impact on our climate. That’s why we guide you step by step along the path towards developing, designing, and implementing a climate-neutral product, event or business.
Our climate is changing
Excessive emissions of greenhouse gases are changing our climate dramatically. Global warming leads to rising sea levels and changes to water management regimes. If we don’t respond, the global environmental, economic and social impacts will be enormous. That’s why we work on CO2 reduction, each and every day. From Driebergen-Zeist railway station you can reach us with a shuttle service on biogas. In the renovation of the rooms is the sustainability principle.
Innovations en sustainabilty
While renovating the rooms at Landgoed Zonehuvel we used innovative, energy-saving techniques:
- The radiators are redundant by climate mats in the ceiling. Using geothermal heat pumps and storage concerns in the winter heating and summer cooling for plaster creates a pleasant living environment
- After the insulation of cavity walls, wood-aluminum window frames with HR + + glass, the key card energy consumption drastically reduced
- LED TV and ensure efficient use of energy
- Water-saving shower heads and faucets reduce water consumption, and the use of filtered rainwater for toilet flushing.
While selceting the design and materials, we were also taking into account the sustainability aspects:
- De carpeting in the hallways is manufactured to the Cradle and Cradle principle
- The side table is made from used wood scaffold
- Gordijnen with Oekotex Standard 100 certificate
- Sleeping on the fair linen with the Fair Trade label, for you good and healthy rest!
